My personal approach towards the inability to reverse the action of time spans in three different directions:  (·) the patina of time considered an intrinsic dimension of the object; (·) the image of the lock as a symbol of our struggle to hold back time; and (·) the ability to truly value the present moment, cultivating full appreciation of the rich experience available therein.
